Neighborhood BBQ—Sat, 31st, 11 AM—2:00 PM
Come be part of the Neighborhood BBQ outreach on Saturday, May 31st. There will be a nummy BBQ and a chance to rub shoulders with folks from our neighborhood. This is a great outreach event. Please pray that God will draw in our church neighbors.

Youth Reality—Fri, 6th, 6:30-10 pm
Pastor Stephen and the youth group staff have another amazing time planned for Friday, June 6th, at the Jr and Sr High Youth Reality. Come see a “Feats of Strength” demonstration that will amaze and inspire you!
Wild at Heart—Study—Sat, 7th, 8-9:30 AM
The Men’s Study “Wild at Heart” meets for the final time on Saturday, June 7th. It has been a great study!
Men’s Early Morning Study—Tues, 6:30 am
The men’s early morning Bible study will only meet the first two Tuesdays in June—3rd and 10th. It will then take the rest of June, the month of July, and first part of August off, and resume on August 19th. We will then continue studying “The Quest for Authentic Manhood.” All men are welcome at this study.
Prayer Evening—Sun, 8th, 6:00 PM
Come and spend an exciting hour in prayer! We’ll begin with praise and then pray for the progress of God’s kingdom, the needs of people, purity, and protection. If you have a special need for healing we’ll pray for that, too. Please come and join in. It is a moving experience to pray corporately as a church body. Light snacks are provided.
Flag Day—Sat, 14th
Everyone is encouraged to fly the stars and stripes on Flag Day!
Fathers Day—Sun 15th
We’ll be honoring dads at both worship services on Sunday, June 15th. Bring your dad or grandfather to church and let us bless them!
Sports Camp with Uncharted Waters
Mon-Fri, 16th-20th, 9 am—12:15 pm
Attention parents with children 6-11 years of age. We’re hosting a Christian soccer, basketball and cheerleading camp again this year with the help of Uncharted Waters Sports Ministry. For more information call Pastor Jim or pick up a brochure in the foyer. Also, we still need more helpers. If you can help, please sign up in the foyer.
Valley Senior’s Fellowship—Thur, 19, 11:30 am Attention Seniors. This month we’ll have another fellowship lunch, time of singing, and encouraging devotional. Thanks to everyone who works hard each month to make VSF a fun event. This month will be another great time!
Canal Sports Camp with Uncharted Waters
Mon-Fri, 23rd-27th, 9 am—12:15 pm
Pray for this outreach camp that will be held in the San Rafael canal area for underprivileged kids. We are joining with a few other churches to host this event.
Hospitality Gatherings - Sun 22nd
On Sunday, June 22nd, everyone is encouraged to get together with another person or family from Valley to enjoy some time together. Why not go to lunch, have a picnic, grab a cup of coffee, have someone over for a movie and dessert, or something fun like that. It is great to get to know one another better.
Hymn Sing—Sun, 29th, 6 pm
Do you love singing the hymns from the hymnal? Then come to the sanctuary on June 29th and get ready to sing your heart out! The hymns are full of great truth and encouragement for the Christian life. John will be taking special requests that night. Please bring a dessert to share in the fellowship hall following our time of singing together.
